As you are aware, we are in the midst of a global pandemic of Covid 19. This has had an unprecedented impact on the travel industry and we want to keep you informed of the situation here in Bermuda and Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, a Fairmont Managed Hotel.
The Bermuda Government is instituting measures to reduce any potential spread as outlined in the following official government statement: Bermuda is closely monitoring COVID-19 and as a result, all commercial flights in and out of Bermuda are suspended until further notice. In light of this directive, and in an effort to prioritize the health and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues, we have made the difficult decision to suspend hotel operations at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club from Saturday, March 21nd until Friday, May 15th. This temporary hotel closure means a suspension of all services, including overnight stays, spa and all food & beverage venues, which includes Marcus’, 1609 Bar & Restaurant, Crown & Anchor, The Duchess Café & Gelateria, The Beach Club and Exhale Spa.
We will continue to evaluate the situation and keep in contact with our loyal guests and dedicated employees to ensure that our community is informed, connected and supported through these trying times.
